Our Sanctuary History
Under the supervision of Judge J.R. Carmichael our present sanctuary was constructed in 1897.
Architects Bruce and Morgan of Atlanta designed not only our historic Church but our Butts County Courthouse and the historical Carmichael House a few blocks over.

Pulpit Bible with Apocrypha, published in 1890. Was used for over 100 years.

Decorative Grill for hot air flow Jackson’s first central heating system.

The sound of this magnificent square piano is reminiscent of the early pianoforte of Mozart’s era with a tone that is best described as having a soft, harp-like quality.
